Removal of waste is a task of great importance to Usakos Town Council. Waste is therefore handled in accordance with the weekly solid waste schedule below:

NB. In case residents find themselves with garden waste and building rubbles, they are encouraged to:
- Inform the Usakos Town Council to come remove that waste
- Refrain from taking waste to the dump site by themselves
THE COUNCIL FURTHER ENCOURAGES RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES AND INSTITUTIONS ALIKE TO:
- Throw all rubbish in the bins provided around town
- Engage in a voluntary cleaning campaign twice a year
- Acquire and keep waste bin at their premises
PLEASE NOTE, WASTE IS NOT GOOD FOR OUR TOWN
- Wastes are breeding sites for germs, bacterial and insects
- They are a sour sight to look at
- They give a bad image to the town
- Chase away potential investors
- Do not dump waste materials at undesignated places
- Do not throw hot objects in the plastic wheel bin
- Do not leave the construction waste lying around
